The Storefront: A freestanding building located in downtown Berkeley. The building is two blocks from BART, adjacent to Berkeley High School and the Farmers Market. It is a building that can be used as a live-work studio, a commercial space or a one bedroom/studio apartment.

This building was built in 1913 and retains much of the charm of an older building, yet has been thoroughly updated. New electrical, new plumbing, insulation and heating have been added. The space is small but designed to be efficient and flexible.

Features include:

• A bedroom with large walk-in closet
• Galley Kitchen
• A large living room that can also be used as a studio space, a gallery or public meeting space.
• Two display windows on the street
• Clerestory windows bring in lots of light
• Hardwood floors throughout the living space
• 10 foot ceilings
• A fully ADA accessible bathroom
• A brick patio behind the building, with yard space (shared with back house).
